On 7th July 2023, Heritage Association was inaugurated in our school premises with staff & Students of classes VIII and IX. The Guest of Honour of the day was Mr. B. Mohammed Gouse., M.A., M.Sc., B.Ed., M.Phil., Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of History, Abdul Hakeem college, Vellore. Our Trustee sir Shri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the Programme. The day started with a prayer followed by lighting of Kuthuvilakku. Our Principal welcomed the gathering followed by the Introduction of the Chief Guest given by Academic Advisor mam. The subject Head and incharge of Heritage Association presented the Activity reports for Academic year 2023 – 24. Our Trustee Sir Shri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain honoured the Chief Guest with a memento and wished students to respect our heritage and culture and use the opportunity to participate in all the Heritage activities. Mr.B. Mohammed Gouse delivered a seminar on “Heritage is our vintage” through PPT. He Advised the students the respect and protect India’s heritage. The programme successfully came to an end. Heritage Club President delivered Vote of Thanks.
A part from the heritage programme, we aslo celebrated Vana Mohostav programme. The student secretary of Eco club delivered a speech on Vanamohastav and the students of Eco club was given the tree sapplings in order to inculcate the knowledge of making the Mother Earth Green.
