“Let our hearts beat with pride for the nation and let our actions speak for its progress.”
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm in our school campus on 15th August 2026. The celebration was organised to commemorate the spirit of freedom and to instil patriotism, unity and a sense of responsibility among the students.
The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by Tamizh Thai Vazhthu. The celebration continued with the flag hoisting, which filled the campus with a deep sense of patriotism and pride.
Following the flag hoisting, a special presentation by the Sr. KG and Jr.KG Little Buds added charm to the celebration. Dressed as great freedom fighters, the little ones delivered inspiring speeches, beautifully portraying the courage, patriotism and sacrifices of our national heroes. Their confident performances were warmly appreciated by everyone.
The programme was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. D. Rathinavel, B.Tech., Data and Analytics Consultant and Certified Meditation Coach, Vellore. This was followed by the welcome address by our Principal, Mrs. J. Kavitha, and the introduction of the Chief Guest by Mrs. V. Divya, Quality Co-ordinator.
The Chief Guest was honoured and felicitated by Sri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain, Secretary.
The students presented a vibrant cultural programme comprising an English speech, skit, Hindi speech, choir, mime, Tamil speech and dance. Each performance reflected the students’ talent, creativity and patriotic spirit.
In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest encouraged the students to “throw your fear away” and develop the confidence to say, “I can do it.” He motivated the young minds to believe in themselves, face challenges with courage and work towards achieving their dreams. He emphasised that each one has the potential to become an industrialist through determination, creativity and perseverance.
The programme also included a meditation session, followed by the vote of thanks. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and distribution of sweets.
