“Think Green Live Green”
On 14th July 2022, ECO – Club was inaugurated in our school premises. It was attended by staff and students of classes VI and VII. The Resource Person for the occasion was Dr.ShanthaKumar Professor and Director, Centre for Clean Environment, V.I.T University, Vellore. Our Trustee Sri K.Rajesh Kumar Jain sir presided over the programme.
The programme commenced with prayer song and lighting of the lamp. The principal welcomed the gathering. The introduction of the Chief Guest was done by Vice – Principal and our Trustee sir honoured the Chief Guest with Shawl and memento and he wished all the students to actively participate in the club activities. Our Academic Consultant sir and Academic Advisor mam also wished the students. The report of ECO – Club was given by subject head, and introduced the club members, ECO Club Oath was taken by our students.
The chief guest Dr ShanthaKumar, delivered a presentation on recycle, reduce, reuse, sustainability, and survival of the fittest. He emphasized the usage of water and electricity. It was an interactive session, students posed questions related to sustainable development. The programme was ended with vote of thanks proposed by the Student President of the Club.
