On 1st July 2022, Science Association was inaugurated in our school premises. It was attended by staff and students of Classes VIII and IX. The Guest of Honour for the occasion was DR.SENTHIL KUMAR ARUMUGAM, M.Tech., Ph.D., Senior Professor and Director, CO2 Research and Green Technology Centre, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. Our Trustee Sir Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain Presided over the programme.
The programme commenced with prayer song followed by lighting of the lamp. Our Principal welcomed the gathering and our Vice Principal introduced the chief guest. The chief guest was honoured with shawl and memento by our Trustee Sir, who also wished the students to develop Scientific skill. Our Academic consultant sir and Academic Advisor mam also embraced the occasion to wish and inspired the students about the importance of Science. The Subject Head of Science gave the report about the activities and planner of the Science Association. She also announced the names of the members of the club as President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint secretary and Office Bearers. The resource person Dr.Senthil Kumar Arumugam conducted an interactive session with the students and gave a inspiring speech on global warming and how to make CO2 related products reusable. The programme got over with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the student president of the Club.
