23rd Annual Sports Meet of our school was held on 27th January 2019 at Vani Vidyalaya Matric Hr. Sec., and C.B.S.E School Ground, Vellore between 9.00 a.m. & 1.00 p.m. Our Chief Guest of the day was Dr.M.Senthil Kumar M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., Associate Professor & NSS Co-ordinator, Department of Tamil, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. Shri. M. Vimmal Chand Jain, President - Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, Vaniyambadi & Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, and Shri.C.Lickmichand Jain, Secretary- Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, Vaniyambadi & Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, presided and delivered Felicitation to the gathering. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided and delivered welcome address. Uthavum Ulangal Aiyya Mr.Chandrasekar also joined with us in the celebration. The Programme started with the Prayer song followed by Thamizh Thai vazhthu, Flag Hoisting, March Past parade, Declaration of Sports meet open and liberation of dove. Our Principal introduced the Chief Guest and the Chief Guest was honoured by our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain with a memento, shawl and mala as a token of gratitude. Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated the students to achieve more in sports. Our students executed their talents through various performance like Bharatham (Welcome Dance), Yoga, Pyramid, Karate, Silambam and various Drills. Open Events and House Wise Relay was conducted for students. Lucky Corner event was conducted for Parents and Alumni students which made them enthusiastic. Prize winners for various Sports Events, held during this academic year were awarded with trophies and certificates by the Guest of honour and Board Members. The Overall Championship for this Academic Year 2018-2019 was grabbed by RUBY house. Our Vice Principal delivered Vote of Thanks. Finally sports came to closure with ‘Close meet’ by chief guest. The curtains of 23rd sports meet came down with National Anthem. On the whole, Principal and Vice Principal congratulated the Participants and Teachers for this grand success.
