On 08th January 2019, our school Karuna Club & Eco Club joined hands in Awareness programme on “Say No to Plastic” organized in our school by Vellore Corporation. Mr.Siva Subramanian, Commissioner of Vellore Corporation and Mr.Bala Murugan, Sanitary Officer conducted the awareness porgramme. Our Trust Co-ordinator presided over the programme. The Principal addressed and thanked the gathering. Mr.Sivasubramanian, Commissioner of Vellore Corporation delivered a speech about harmful effects of plastic to human beings and animals, as exposure to plastic is linked to cancers and other ailments. He directed staff and students to totally eliminate plastic from our lives to stay healthy and include the usage of paper and jute materials and advised to rejuvenate rain water Harvesting Plant. The Session was very useful and benefited the staff and students.
