On 29th July 2016 at 11.00a.m. Literary Association was Inaugurated with the chief guest Prof.Rufus Inbakumar, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.d., Head of the department of English, V.I.T University, Vellore. The Programme started with the lighting of kuthuvillaku by the Chief Guest, Trust Co-ordinator, Principal and Vice Principal. Welcome address was delivered by Principal. The Introduction of the Guest was given by Vice Principal. Trust Co-Ordinator honoured the chief guest with Shaal, Mala and Memento. The Incharge teacher delivered the report of Literary Association for 2015-2016 and announced the members of the club, where students were badged by Chief Guest. Prof.Rufus Inbakumar presented a seminar on “Importance of Literature & Kindle the literature in students”. The seminar emphasized on LSRW method of learning and soft skills for this modern technology. Sir insisted on self learning through BBC News and also suggested to read classical novels of Jane Austen, Charles Dickerson, T.S.Eliot and so on. The function finally ended with the Vote of Thanks by student President.
