153rd Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated in our school by our students and staff. Swami Vivekananda was respected with a Pushpanjali by the students and staff. Swami Vivekananda was born on 12th Jan 1863 and left us on 4th July 1902. He was an Indian Hindu monk and chief disciple of Indian mystic Ramakrishna in 19th-century. Today is celebrated as a Youth day. Ms.S.Malathi, Subject Head (Chemistry) gave an inspirational speech on Concentration and Character building to the students. Some of his favourite Quotes are,
“You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual.
There is no other teacher but your own soul”.
“You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself”.
“The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong”.
