Independence Day is celebrated all over India with great patriotism and pride. Our school BMD Jain, also takes keen interest in celebrating 75th Independence Day with great zeal and fervour virtually.
Our school had also webcast the programme live on YouTube channel so that the community can remotely join in it from their homes.
The programme started with the blessing of almighty god, our Honourable Trustee Sir. Shri. K. Rajesh Kumar Jain hoisted our tricolor flag which has held in our school premise was displayed virtually, followed by Tamil Thai Vazhuthu.
Our Incharge Principal mam, Mrs. R. Geetha welcome address and chief guest introduction of Mrs. T. Sumitha., M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of History, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College,Trichirapalli.
Next part of the programme was Chief Guest’s address. Our Chief Guest Mrs. T. Sumitha., M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of History delivered and instilled a patriotic sense among the students.
Channelizing the creativity of the students through online exhibition was a key part of Independence Day celebration at BMD Jain School. We have many virtual competition on the topic “Patriotism towards the nation” such as states and capitals, fancy dress competition, poster creation and speech.
Finally the programme end with the vote of thanks by our academic co-ordinator Mrs. H. Chitra mam.
