24th Annual Sports Meet of our school was held on 12th January 2020, at Nethaji Stadium, Vellore between 9.30 a.m. & 1.00 p.m. Our Chief Guest of the day was Mrs.N.Kamini, IPS, DIG of Police, Vellore Range. Shri.C.Lickmichand Jain, Secretary- Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, Vaniyambadi presided and delivered Felicitation to the gathering and Shri.K.Anand Kumar Bafna, Trustee, Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust gave his valuable presence on this special day. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided and delivered welcome address. The Programme started with the Prayer song followed by Thamizh Thai vazhthu, Flag Hoisting, March Past parade, Declaration of Sports meet open and liberation of dove. “National Youth day” was celebrated to commemorate 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by offering Pushpanjali to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda by all dignitaries. Our Principal introduced the Chief Guest and the Chief Guest was honoured by our dignitaries with a memento, shawl and mala as a token of gratitude. Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated the students to achieve more in sports and use technology for good cause. Our students executed their talents through various performance like Bharatham (Welcome Dance), Yoga, Pyramid, Karate, Silambam, Archery and various Drills. Open Events and House Wise Relay was conducted for students. Lucky Corner event was conducted for Parents and Alumni students which made them enthusiastic. Prize winners for various Sports Events, held during this Academic year were awarded with trophies and certificates by the Board Members. The Overall Championship for this Academic Year 2019-2020 was grabbed by Emerald house. Our Vice Principal delivered Vote of Thanks. Finally sports came to closure with ‘Close meet’ by our Secretary. The curtains of 24th Sports meet came down with National Anthem. On the whole, Principal and Vice Principal congratulated the Participants and Teachers for this grand success.
