Inauguration of Eco Club was started with the prayer song and lighting of kuthuvilakku by our chief guest Mr. Janardhanan, District convener, Junior Red Cross, Vellore. Our School Principal Mrs.K.Vidhya welcomed and honored the chief guest. Then the chief guest Mr. Janardhanan gave a speech on “Role of students in protecting the environment” and he insisted the students to grow trees and get rainfall and also he explained the students that how to stay healthy. Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain, Treasurer presided over the function. Then the announcement of Eco Club office bearers held, followed by the pledge of Eco Club. Then vote of thanks was given by the newly elected student president V.S.Deepak of IX ‘A’ and the programme came to an end with National Anthem.
