“He that plants Trees loves others beside himself”
The colour green which represents prosperity and fertility was celebrated by kinder garten kids as Green Day today (12.7.24) in an instructive way. Our Kinder garten children celebrated this day by wearing green colour dress, bringing green colour fruits and pulses for snacks. The class room was decorated with colourful pictures of green colour animals, birds, insects and fruits & vegetables. Children welcomed our Academic Advisor Mam and Principal Mam by giving them green badges and paper leaf wrist bands. Children enacted like fruits and vegetables, recited rhymes and spoke about the importance of Green Day connected with concept of Mother Earth both through their artistic expression and activism. They created awareness about the earth and to cherish the greenery that we are blessed with. In all the classrooms children did activities to develop the fine motor skills by thumb printing, paper pasting and colouring for green day. Finally the programme ended with mime show illustrating about “Save Tree; Save Lives”.
