“If you want to see Happiness on the Earth then Plant a Tree Every Day.”
Vana Mohatasava, an annual tree planting movement in India was celebrated in our school on 11.07.2024. Students of class III gathered at the Main Block to bring out the importance of this tree planting festival.
The celebration began with an address given by Ms.R.Reshma Sulthanah, teacher of class 3rd, who gave an insight into Afforestation and the 4 R’s i.e. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and a final ‘R’ for Recover for a better earth.
Welcome speech was given by our respectful Principal Mam who encouraged all students to plant atleast one tree in their lifetime.
An activity was performed where 3 students of class III delivered speeches in English. Later the tiny, eager students came forward to get involved in planting of saplings along with our Principal, Academic Advisor and VP Mam.
Finally, Vote of Thanks was rendered by Ms.R.Reshma Sulthanah
