On 4.7.2024, Thursday, our school conducted the Investiture ceremony which is a platform to showcase the leadership skills and abilities of our students. It is the most prestigious ceremony in the schedule of school events.
The Chief Guest Mrs.S.Kalaichelvi, M.A.,M.Phil., was welcomed by our School Students’ Band at 10.30am. The ceremony commenced with the Prayer song followed by the Tamizh thaai vaazhthu. All the dignitaries inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. Our dynamic Principal Mam welcomed all gathered and also introduced our Chief Guest Mrs.S.Kalaichelvi, M.A.,M.Phil. Rtd Professor of Economics, Volunteer Uthavum Ullangaal, Vellore. Member of Inner Wheel. AIWC (All India Women Conference).
Our Secretary Sir, Sri K.Rajesh Kumar Jain, honoured the Chief Guest with shawl, garland and memento. Next, was the much awaited badging ceremony where all the leaders of the Student Council were adorned with the sash and badges. The School Head Boy, Master G.V.Pranav (XI-A) declared the oath which was repeated by all other leaders (Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, Club Presidents, Sports captain, JRC captain boy and girl, Scouts captain, Guide captain, Wellness Captain-boy and girl.
This was followed by a motivating speech by the Chief Guest. She spoke about leadership qualities of Vision, Passion empathy etc, which inspired everyone.
Our Secretary Sir wished our students of classes VIII - XI about being good leaders and also read books to gain strength and knowledge. Our Academic Advisor mam also wished the students on good leadership skills.
Medals and certificates were awarded to all the prize winners in Under 14 State Level Yoga competition and Under 17 State Level Archery competition conducted by CISCE. Our school also won the Overall Runners Up trophy too, in Yoga. This was a moment of pride for all of us.
Our Vice Principal mam delivered the Vote of Thanks. The ceremony came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
