On the 2nd day of Teacher’s Orientation Programme, we had amongst us a vibrant and enthusiastic Chief Guest Ms.Sridevi Srinivasan. The session started with singing of the Navkar Mantra. Our dynamic Principal mam presented the Welcome Address. This was followed by a detailed introduction of the Chief Guest Ms.Sridevi Srinivasan by our respectful Academic Advisor Mam. Ms.Sridevi Srinivasan is a professional story teller, author, educator, Public speaker and trainer. She is also founder of League of Little Legends and has written the book “Mindful Ways to Raise Confident Readers”.
The topic for today’s orientation programme was “Multiple Intelligence in classroom and Team Building”. Ms.Sridevi started off with innovative way of storytelling which got all the teachers involved. Teachers were later divided into groups for all the activities for the day. PPT presentation on the Multiple Intelligence Theory by Harward Gardner that has 8 approaches of teaching was shown. Each concept was dealt in detail with various group activities for teachers. The session came to a close with the Vote of Thanks delivered by our Primary V.P.Mam.
