The Pongal celebration held at our school on 12.01.2024 was a vibrant and culturally enriching event aimed at a sense of unity and appreciation for our rich traditions.
The Pongal celebration venue was adorned with traditional decorations, creating a festive atmosphere that connect with the spirit of Pongal.
12.01.24 is also the National Youth Day, Birth Anniversary of the Hindoo Monk of India that is, Swami Vivekananda. Flower offerings were rendered to the Swamiji’s photo with due respect.
The celebration were to promote cultural awareness, provide students with a platform to shows their talents, and strengthen the bond within our school community.
The celebration on stage began with singing the prayer song Navkar Mantra and Tamizh thaai Vaazhthu followed by Welcome Address by our Principal Mam.
Trustee Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain and Academic Advisor Mam shared their wishes and blessings to the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, and staffs and featured a diverse range of activities, including traditional Pongal pot decoration, traditional dance, song and importance of Agriculture and Farmers – skit and Debate.
Students played a pivotal role in the success of the event, and actively participated.
In conclusion, the Pongal celebration was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of cultural enrichment. Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Vice principal. The celebration came to a close with the sweet distribution.
