With the zeal of celebrating 27th Sports day our school Teachers and students geared up for the 27th Annual Day within 10 days. The 27th Annual Day Celebration was on 14th February 2023 at 6.30 p.m. in Vani Vidyalaya CBSE & Matric Hr. Sec. school. The Chief Guests of this special day was Mr. A. Shanmuga Sundaram, I.A.S, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Chennai and the Guest of Honor was Mr. S. Dharmichand Pokarna, AGS Sampath Jewellery, Arcot.
The celebration began with singing the Navkar Mantra and the Thamizh Thai Vaazhthu. After the lighting of the lamp, Welcome Address was spoken by our Trustee Sir Sir K. Rajesh Kumar Jain. Our President and Trustee presided over the celebration. A detailed introduction of the Chief Guest as well as Guest of Honor was given by Academic Advisor.
The Principal, Mrs. M. Malathi presented the Annual Report for the Academic year 2022 – 2023. The Chief Guest Mr. A. Shanmuga Sundaram spoke in depth about an environment friendly way of living and how to make good use of rainwater harvesting. Importance and Respect to parents and elders were also a part of his speech. The Guest of Honor also spoke words of wishes to the audience.
Our President Sri M. Vimmal Chand Jain felicitated the gathering. Prizes were distributed to the students who were top achievers in Academics, IHA, General proficiency and Class topper. Teachers Office staff, Attenders, Drivers, Helpers were also motivated with awards.
It was now time for the culturals. This year we stepped on a new venture of putting up a play within a play. Students from Junior KG to Grade IX gave vibrant and stage breaking dance performs with various themes on Nature & Family, Social Media, Global warming, Road Safety, Incredible India. All the dance performances culminated to a rocking performance – the Grand Finale by the Junior Jacksons of Grade 8 & 9. The culturals came to a close with Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. M. Gayatri, Subject Head of Biology.
