The Department of Geriatrics, Christian Medical College, Vellore organized GERICON 2019. GERICON is an academic extravaganza where geriatricians, gerontologists and health care professionals come together on a common platform to share their knowledge, passion and inroads they have made into the comprehensive care of older person.
Art and Essay competition was conducted in our school campus on 15th October 2019 for classes VI to X. Our school Students actively participated in Art (150 students) and Essay Writing competition (120 students).The topics for Art is “What my grandparents do, Childhood Memories with my Grandparents and for Essay writing (Tamil & English) “A Gift from my Grandparent, Lessons my grandparent taught me”. It created apositive impact among students in taking care of grandparents and older people. The best Art and Essay writings were awarded with Prizes and Participation certificates for all Participants
