Panchusan means “abiding and coming together”. This holy event falls on 27th August 2019 this year and it is a time where Jains take on vows of study and fasting. The last day (8th day) of the festival is termed as Chimchery means “forgiving day”. On 26th August 2019, students delivered speech on the importance of Panchusan and Chimchery Children learnt that all living beings, irrespective of their size, shape and form, how spiritually developed or undeveloped are equal and we should love and respect them.
