On 7th July, 2019 Blood Donation Camp was organized with the help of Blood Bank, CMC Hospital, Vellore, between 9.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. in our school campus. Dr. Jayashree, CMC Hospital and Mr. J. Arul Backiyaraj, P.R.O Blood Bank, CMC Hospital, Vellore, was honoured by our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain with shawl and mala. Dr.Jayashree and Mr.J.Arul Backiyaraj, P.R.O Blood Bank shared the importance of donating blood. In the present scenario, cancer patients are more in need of blood. Blood donation should be done where the requirement is more. Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain insisted that one unit of blood can save upto 3 lives, so everyone should come forward to donate blood.
Parents, Teachers, Non-teaching staff and Alumni participated in the camp and donated blood. Totally 83 members donated blood.
Refreshments were provided to all.
