We celebrated 69th Republic Day on 26th Jan 2018 in our school with Management, Staff and Students. Mrs & Mr.D.Elangovan, BSF was the Parent Guest on this special day. The celebration started with a devotional song followed by Tamizh Thai vazhthu. Our Chief Guest hoisted our Tri colour National Flag with utmost respect as a tribute to our country. Students saluted the National Flag, sung Flag song and took National Pledge. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the celebration and honoured our Chief Guest with mala and shawl as a token of gratitude. Our Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the achievements of Chief Guest (Around 25 Gold medals in Weight Lifting). Mr.D.Elangovan, Chief Guest delivered a patriotic speech and shared few experiences faced in the borders during his mission. The cultural programme started with an inspirational speech by students in English and Hindi. Students of class IX enacted Mock Parliament – Questionnaire session on the stage to bring in the current scenario in Defence, Environment, Agriculture and Tourism. Students performed a Dance on the theme “United India”. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain briefed about the constitution and wished the gathering. Our Vice Principal delivered her wishes to the students. The celebration was concluded with National Anthem. Groundnut Burfi was distributed to all.
