Our school invited Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue team to conduct Mock Drill in our school to deliver safety measures during fire accidents for our students and staff. On 08.01.2018, The Station Officer Ms.Parimala, Fire and Rescue Service with her team organized Mock Drill in our school. Staff and students from classes VI to IX participated. The team demonstrated different category of fire accidents and rescue methods to put off fire that is caused due to petrol, gas, cloth with the help of wet cloth, Jute bag, fire extinguisher and to use Nomex (Aluminum suite) and oxygen mask to save ourselves while helping other people struck in fire and smoke. The team also explained about the fire engines their uses and their capacity. The awareness programme was very useful and benefited students and staff.
