On 11th Aug 2017, Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in our school campus at 10.00 a.m. with Staff and Students. Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain, Trustee presided over the celebration. The function started with a prayer song. Lord Krishna was worshipped by performing Pooja and offering Fruits, Sweets and Seedai. Our Principal delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest of the day, Sri.Akinchana Krishna Das, M.Com, General Manager & Devotees of ISKCON, Vellore was honoured by our Trustee. Sri.Akinchana Krishna Das gave a speech on Performing our duties with dedication, Being generous gives peace and advised students that they can enlighten their mind, body and soul to relive from negative energies by reading and listening inspirational life lessons of Lord Krishna and Bhagwat Gita. He wished everyone a Happy Krishna Janmashtami. Students enacted Life story of Lord Krishna through a dance that made everyone happy. To get the Lord’s blessings staff and students chanted Sri Krishna Bhajan with the help of ISKCON devotees. The celebration ended with Vote of Thanks by our Vice Principal. Seedai was distributed to all as a part of celebration.
