Inauguration of Karuna Club 2015-16 was organized on 18.06.2015 at 10.30 a.m. by our students. Our chief guests Sri.Suresh Kankariya, General secretary, karuna International Chennai, and Mrs.Lakshmi Neelakantan, Chief Executive Officer, karuna International Chennai, was honoured by our Principal and Vice Principal with shaal and maalai. The session started with a lighting of Kuthuvillakku and Karuna prayer. Our Principal addressed our chief guests and gatherings. The report of Karuna Club Activity 2014-15 was given. The Karuna club was inaugurated and the office bearers took the responsibilities followed by Karuna pledge. A panel of discussions on the experiences gained by students through Karuna club was organized by our Vice Principal.
The second session started at 11.00 a.m. Our resource person Sri.Suresh Kankariya delivered a presentation on Vegetarianism giving a comparision with non-vegetarianism and its harmful affects. The good benefits in consuming vegetarian was explained to the students. And our resource person Mrs.Lakshmi Neelakantan delivered a presentation on the topic Personality Development to the students. The importance of seven habits like Love and Affection, Tradition and Culture, Compassion, Tolerance.. were taught to the students. That gave morals and values of Humanity. The day ended successfully giving a fresh thoughts to the students and teachers.
