After a gap of 2 years of lockdown our school geared up for another colourful and smashing Annual Day Celebration, this being our 26th Year of Celebration. It was held on 17th April 2022 at the Vani Vidyalaya CBSE and Matric Hr.Sec.School ground, Vellore.
Due to bad weather condition the programme was delayed by 2 hours and began at 8.00 p.m. The Chief Guest of the evening was Sri.Dr.Roy Thankachen, Dept of Cardiothoracic Surgery, CMC Hospital, Vellore. The programme commenced with invocation to the Almighty followed by the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku. Our respectful Trustee Sir Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain delivered an inspiring speech which was followed by blessings and wishes by our President Sri.M.Vimmal Chand Jain. Our Academic Advisor madam introduced the honourable Chief Guest to the gathering. The Chief Guest Dr.Roy Thankachen gave a motivational speech and also applauded the sincere hard work put in by the BMD Jain staff in the cultural. Principal Mam Ms.R.Geetha gave the Annual Report of the School. Academic Advisor Madam Ms.R.Geetha took the audience through the 25 years Flourishing Journey of BMD Jain School.
The cultural programmes started with lots of fervour and enthusiasm. Starting with a beautiful Welcome Dance, there was fun and frolicking dance of tiny kids,a nature dance, dancing to the tunes of bygone cine days of Kollywood, dances of various Indian culture the children rocked the stage. The high school boys and girls performed dances on various themes like ‘No Corruption’, ‘Essence of Agriculture’ and an entertainment rocking dance to the music of ‘Naattu Naattu’. A mind blowing performance on world peace made the audience thoughtful about present scenario.
Finally the culturals ended with Tamil Drama (on selfless happiness), English Drama (titled The Makeover- an adaption from Pygmalion by G.B.Shaw) and Hindi drama (On Modern Pandavas).
Our Vice Principal madam, Ms.M.Malathi delivered the Vote of Thanks at the end of the programme.
