On 26th January 2019, we celebrated 70th Platinum Republic Day in our school premises with Staff and Students. On this special day, Mr. T.M. Vijayaraghavalu B.A., B.L., Advocate was the Guest of Honour. Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain, Trustee presided over the celebration and honoured our Chief Guest with shawl and memento as a token of Gratitude. Uthavum Ulangal Aiyya Mr.Chandrasekar and Mr.Shivaji Rao, Advocate joined us in the celebration. The celebration started with a devotional song followed by Tamizh Thai vazhthu. The Chief Guest hoisted our Tri colour National Flag with utmost respect as a tribute to our country. Students saluted the National Flag, sung Flag song and took National Pledge. Our Principal addressed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest. Our Chief Guest delivered a patriotic speech and shared the origin of Constitution and Mid-meal system and also brought the feelings of responsibility of citizen to be a good citizen which is imbibed by teachers in schools. Our Trustee Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain wished everyone a bright future and Happy Republic Day. Uthavum Ulangal Aiyya Mr.Chandrasekar shared few words and directed students to respect Elders. Students gave a Republic speech about our sovereign country and the sacrifices of our great leaders from the clutches of British and make our nation a FREE INDIA. The programme ended with wishes and Vote of thanks by our Vice Principal. Groundnut Burfi was distributed to all.
