On 15th August 2018, we celebrated our 72nd Independence Day in our school premises with Management, Staff and Students to mark the day, when India was declared as sovereign nation. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the celebration. The programme started with devotional song and Tamizh Thai Vazhthu. Our Parent Chief Guest Mrs. V. Priya M.A, M.Phil, Ph.D, Assistant professor, Muthurangam Govt. Arts College, Vellore took pride to hoist our Indian Tricolour National Flag. Flag song and pledge added aroma on this day, which depicted the strength, courage, peace, truth, fertility, growth and auspiciousness of our motherland. Our Principal delivered welcome address and introduced Chief Guest. Our Trustee Shri. K.Rajesh Kumar Jain and other dignitaries honoured the Chief Guest with shawl, Mala and memento as a token of Gratitude. Our Chief Guest in her speech shared about National Leaders and freedom fighters. She inspired the slogan of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose “Give me blood and I will give you freedom”. She also inspired patriotic speech about Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and contribution of Netaji to India’s Freedom Struggle. Our Trustee wished everyone to breathe a free Independence. On this special Day the blood donors were awarded with Appreciation certificate, who had donated blood on 24th June 2018 in the Blood Donation Camp organized in our school with the help of CMCH, Vellore. Cultural Programme enlightened the day with a dance and speeches in English, Hindi and Tamil. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Vice Principal rendering gratitude to all the participants who had brought in the fervor of Independence. Programme ended with National Anthem and Sweet Distribution.
