Diwali – ‘The festival of lights’ was celebrated in our school with the staff and students on 17th Oct 2017. Ms.Saraswathi Bhai, w/o Shri.Rugee R.Kanyalal Jain (late), Founder of our School and Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the celebration. The programme started by offering poojai to Lord Lakshmi followed by prayer song. Principal presented the welcome address and wished everyone a happy and safe Diwali. The celebration became more colourful with the cultural programme. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerising dance performance, debate on the topic “Deepavali - thindattama? Kondattama? Students performed mime show with a message to fire crackers safely without harming others and a skit with a theme to respect elders and use technology positively. The function ended successfully with vote of thanks by Vice Principal. Sweets were distributed to all.
