On 23rd June 2017, Science Association was Inaugurated in our school at 10.00 a.m. with Staff and students of classes VIII & IX. The day started with a prayer followed by lighting of kuthuvilakku. Trustee, Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the programme and honoured our Chief Guest Mrs.S.L.Manju, M.Sc., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Dept. of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences, V.I.T, Vellore. Our Principal welcome the gathering and addressed our Chief Guest. The club President, Secretary and office Bearers were badged by the Chief Guest. Mrs.S.L.Manju delivered a valuable speech on “Science, a systematic study of physical structure and natural world”. Also she explained about importance of “Observation” & “Experiment” and illustrated the achievements of scientists, C.V.Raman, Isaac Newton and Wright Brothers. The session was interactive and students were encouraged to explore their talents. The function ended with vote of thanks by Vice Principal.
