70th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15.08.2016 at 8.30a.m. by our staff and students. The chief guests of this special day was S.Dhilip Kumar, Havildhar, parent of Yuvadharshan – V std and Mrs.Priya, Asst. Prof., Muthurangam Arts College, Vellore, parent of Dayanidhi- VII std. Our Treasurer Sri.N.Sripalkumar Jain and Trustee Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the celebration. Our National Flag was hoisted by the guest to respect our nation followed by Flag song and pledge by our staff and students. Our Principal welcomed the Guests and the gatherings. Our guest Mrs.Priya delivered a speech on Freedom Movement and their struggle to get independence to our India. Mr.S.Dhilip Kumar spoke about Women struggles in our country and also he told India becomes fully Independent country only when Women are treated equally. Our students celebrated the day by performing culturals like Dance, Drama, Speech and Debate on “SUTHANTHIRA KATRU, SUTHAMANA KATRA? SUTHAMATRA KATRA?”. On this special day, Management provided 21 Laptops to the Heads, Subject Heads and Academic Co-ordinators. The Function ended with a vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal and National Anthem. Sweets were distributed to all. In order to celebrate Azad 70 Yaad Karo Kurbani, various competitions will be conducted till Aug 23, 2016.
