69th Independence Day was celebrated in our school on 15.08.2015 at 9.00 a.m. Our chief guest Mr.T.V.Sivasubramaniyan Retd. CEO, was honoured with shaal and maalai by the Trust Co-ordinator Mr.S.Sureshu, as a token of gratitude. The day started with a prayer. The chief guest hoisted our National flag followed by welcome speech by the Principal. Our chief guest gave a patriotic speech out of his own experience. He shared his memories as a child in 1940 and how India got its freedom from the British rule. Our students made the day even more colourful by performing Dance, Skit describing about our Indian tradition and culture, Indian games, yoga, Importance of Agriculture and food. Students conducted a Debate on the topic “ Indraya makkal Samudhaya Akkarai Ullavargala , Illathavargala” ? . The Vice Principal delivered the vote of thanks and day ended with National Anthem. Sweets were distributed as a part of celebration.
