On 27th January 28th Anniversary celebration, VIT Mathematics Association has organised a national level mathematical contest for school students. In that competition our school students were taken part on the theme “Mathematics in Climate Change”.
The competition was held in 2 levels, VI to VIII and IX and X. In Mathematical quiz, Talent Examination, Model exhibition and Poster presentation, from our school 206 students were participated in various events.
S.Sudharsan, Siddanth Jain, K.Sabarish from IX-A won 2nd Prize in Mathematics model exhibition level II on the topic ‘Mathematics for Global Warming’ and was awarded cash prize of Rs.700/- each and certificate, Also Akshaya.S, Devipriya.D, Nandhana.K from IX-E won 2nd prize in Mathematical Poster presentation level II on the topic “Mathematical Application in Global Warming” and they were also awarded with cash prize of Rs.700/- each and certificate.
G.Shavetha from IX - C and S.J. Dharmesh Sanjai from VII - A won consolation prize in Maths Talent examination, they were also awarded by gifts.
