On 5th August 2023 we have taken 184 students and 12 teachers from class VIII to visit building construction site nearby our school. Students observed the construction work like mixture of sand and cement, how to make concrete by using steel, rod and also taken measurement of windows and doors.
Students were discussed about the different components used to construct building, Chief Civil Engineer explained about the building construction plan and students got chance to learn how various profession involved with the construction work. The trip offers a diversity of activities in the field of Mathematics teaching, and exposure to the fields of building construction. Students are motivated as they learn to connect Mathematics with real world situations.
