On the occasion of National Science Day Celebration 2022 to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect in 1928 by Indian Physicist Sir C.V. Raman. Every year District Science Centre, Vellore celebrates National Science day to widely spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life of the people. The theme of the year 2022 “Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future",
District Science Centre. Vellore organised competitions in commemoration of the ‘National Science Day' from 23.2.2022 to 26.02.2022. Our students from classes VII to IX participated in various competition.
On 23.2.2022 Painting competition was held on the topic
“Save Environment" Prarthana. M and Kavya Yadav. H were participated.
On 25.02.2022 Science drama was held on the topic
“The World of Science” our students Thrishan Ragava. S, Prithiviraj. R, Balaji. N, Kavin Sandron. J, Cheran. D, Deva priyaa. R, Priscilla Susan and Haritha. L won 3rd place.
On 26.02.2022 Quiz competition was held, our students Aarthi. J and Hema Prabha. S were participated.
23.02.2022 to 26.02.2022 series of special Lecture programmes were organised on the topic “Space known to unknown”, “Raman's science and everyday life”, “Static Electricity” and “Facts in Chemistry”. 10 students from class 7 and 10 students from class 8 attended the special Lecture Programmes.
On 3.3.2022 our science drama team went to District Science Centre vellore for price distribution award function. Our students had received certificates and encyclopedias from CEO. The Management, staff and students congratulates the winners and participants.
