Children’s Day, the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, is day to make children aware of their rights and responsibilities. It is a day when children learn about the importance of education too.
We at BMD Jain School celebrated Children’s Day after a long period of online classes. It was a much awaited day. On 17.11.2021, Wednesday, our Respected Trustee Sir Rajesh Kumar Jain blessed our children. Wishes were given by our Academic Advisor Mam, Principal and also Vice Principal Mam.
The Primary session students were entertained by their teachers with a wonderful Puppet Show and colourful dance by our teachers. This was followed by a hot debate in Tamil by the Tamil department of teachers. Finally, the English department of teachers along with other High School teachers put up a short skit on the topic “Social Media has made people less socially active”. Teachers highlighted the advantages and limitations of social media. The Children who excelled in silambam and wushu conducted by state and national levels and brought laurels to the school were honored by our respected Trustee Sir.
The colourful day ended with sweet distribution sponsored by our ever generous Management to our children.
