On 22nd June 2018, Literary Association was inaugurated in our school between 10.15 a.m & 12.00 p.m. The programme started with a Prayer song followed by lighting of kuthuvilakku. Our Resource person Dr.V.Anitha Devi, M.A., Ph.D., Associate Professor and HOD, Department of English, School of Social Sciences and Languages, VIT University, Vellore was the Guest of Honour. Our Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the function and honoured our Chief Guest Dr.V.Anitha Devi with a momento. The Principal welcomed the gathering and addressed the Chief Guest. The club incharge Mrs.R.Kavitha presented the club activity report of Academic year 2017-18 and Student President, Secretary and office bearers of the club were badged by the chief guest. Dr.V.Anitha Devi delivered a presentation on “Importance of Communication Skills” by organizing an interaction session. Students from classes VI & VII actively participated in the activities conducted to perceive the significance of Listening, understanding and pronunciation for proper communication. Trustee Shri.K.Rajesh kumar Jain shared few words and wished staff members, students and office bearers to have a successful Academic Year. The session was enthusiastic and students were appraised for their active participation. The programme was completed successfully with Vote of Thanks by our Vice Principal.
