22nd Annual Sports Meet of our school was held on 4th February 2018 at Nethaji Stadium, Vellore between 9.00 a.m. & 1.00 p.m. Our Chief Guest of the day was Thiru.S.Ramesh, B.P.E.S, M.P.Ed., NIS, District Sports Officer (DSO), Vellore, Sri.C.Lickmichand Jain, Secretary - Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, Vaniyambadi & Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, Sri. M. Vimmal Chand Jain, President - Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, Vaniyambadi & Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, and our Trustee Sri.K.Rajesh Kumar Jain presided over the function and welcomed the gathering. Our Secretary’s son Shri. Anand Singhvi gave his presence amidst us. The Programme started with a Prayer song, Flag Hoisting, March Past parade and Declaration of Sports meet open by freeing the pigeon in the sky. Our Principal introduced the Chief Guest and the Chief Guest was honoured by the Board Members with a memento, shawl and mala as a token of gratitude. Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated the students to achieve more in sports. Our students executed their talents through various performance like Bharatham (Welcome Dance), Yoga, Pyramid, Gymnastics, Karate, Silambam and various Drills. Uthavum Ulangal Aiyya Mr.Chandrasekar shared few words with us and appreciated student’s performances. Open Events and House Wise Relay was conducted for students. Event was conducted for Parents and Alumni students which was enthusiastic. Prize winners were announced and awarded with trophies and certificates by the Guest of honour and Board Members for various Sports Events held during the year. Our Principal proudly announced the Overall Championship of the Academic Year 2017-2018 which was shared by Topaz & Emerald Team. Our Vice Principal delivered Vote of Thanks. Sports Meet was concluded successfully by our secretary. Finally the sports meet was grand success and ended with National Anthem.
