67th Republic day was celebrated in our school on 26th Jan 2016 @ 8.30 a.m. Our chief guest Pulavar.P.Sankaralingam, Rtrd. Tamil Teacher, hoisted the flag and gave a patriotic speech to encourage students. Sri. Uttamchand Jain, Joint Secretary, Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust, presided over the function. Students of class IX enacted Mock Parliament in the stage to express the current bills which are proposed in the parliament like Women’s reservation, Banning of Jallikattu and so on. On the eve of the celebration, Blood donation camp was organized by Karuna club and Blood bank, CMCH, vellore, at 10.00 a.m. The blood camp was inaugurated by Sri. Uttamchand Jain, Joint Secretary, Sri Marudhar Kesari Jain Trust and Udhavum ullanagal Thiru.Era.Chandrasekar delivered a speech on blood donation. Parents, Teachers and Public participated in the camp and donated blood. Sweets were distributed to all.
